blood, sweat, tears, cries.....
the week went by way too fucking fast. i guess in a way i'm still recovering and getting settled back to work. the next few days should get me sorted back to reality. sleater-kinney mania ended and they are seriously the greatest band ever. i wonder how many hours we spend in a lifetime waiting in line. i think we spent over 15 hours combined waiting in line for three s-k shows and we were never first. fucking freaks.

i'll miss our belovedlaurabella, but there'll always be next month, next year...etc. I think we're the best fans, we know not to cross a line and we're repsectful of others. well unless you fuck with us first.

i actually sorta miss california, i didn't need to bring my bubble. LA is still a shit hole though. where the fuck are the garbage cans?

This is the line for the first show in Pomona at the Glasshouse. If you can see the chick to the left with the dark hair and sunglasses, she let everybody cut in line and i'm sure he hardly knew any of them. this was a good first show and it was the only show that allowed cameras.

This is Mary Timony, opening act. I really enjoyed her at the third show. She's adorable.

This pic of carrie didn't come out entirely clear. oh well. you get the gist.

carrie and her facial tics.

This is outside at the first show in LA.

Jjjjjaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmmmmm sessssssssssssssssssiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiooooooooon

Oh the last show was the best, we encountered quite hostility amongst other fans. One more hour!

laura is now a college graduate. oh how much you've grown. andrew and i raised you well.

You were way closer to the stage than I was at the Pomona show. Well, I guess that'd make sense since you're hardxcore and all. And I probably wasn't that far back; maybe toward the middle of the floor, right in the center. In any case, they were awesome and I left totally sold on them. Now I just have to buy the CDs.

Hope you had fun on your trip.

Oh, and I read somewhere than we spend 3 years of our life in lines.

i'm suprised that you weren't a fan already, but then i ready you're latest and now i understand.

If only you came to the second LA show, it was more amazing than the first, imagine the intensity of the pomona show and multiply that 4532453 times, plus they played dig me out!

i love the woods, but i love it even more after seeing them live. i think it was a part of the whole creation, it's visual, musical and lyrical all at the same time.

i would've said hi!

I wanted to go to the Fonda shows so bad but I'd already had plans. I didn't think they'd rock me so hard that I'd want to see them again so soon. I won't make that mistake next time.

My friend Daniel echoes your sentiments on The Woods. Going in he was pretty lukewarm, now he can't stop listening to it.

Next time we'll coordinate our nod and greet better.
